While BioWare’s Anthem faces issues en route to a global launch, Xur continues to disappoint the veteran player in Bungie’s Destiny 2. He’s currently in the Winding Cove of the European Dead Zone and carries some Exotics that have been around since launch. Xur will be around until the weekly reset tomorrow, so hurry up.
The Exotic gear this week includes the Lucky Raspberry (Hunter chest), Actium War Rig (Titan chest), and Skull of Dire Ahamkara (Warlock chest), each for 23 Legendary Shards. None of these are very exceptional, but they’re solid Exotics all the same. However, if you’ve ever wanted to endlessly fire Sweet Business – or any auto rifle with a large magazine – then the Actium War Rig may be worth it.
The Exotic weapon this week is the Sunshot, a handcannon that causes enemies to explode on death. As a Solar weapon, it’s pretty neat for not requiring headshots to make enemies explode. It may not be the best PvP weapon, but is perfectly serviceable in PvE. Pick it up for 29 Legendary Shards.
