Destiny 2 - The Final Shape_08

Bungie’s thunderous conclusion to Destiny’s Light and Darkness saga is available now with Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Of course, the perennial question for any fan is: What’s next? It seems the development team will address that much sooner than expected.

A video called “The Journey Ahead” will premiere on June 10th at 8 AM PT and discuss the “next year of Destiny 2.” With Bungie forgoing the traditional seasonal approach in favor of Episodes, it could start outlining what to expect. Episode 1: Echoes kicks off on June 11th (alongside the new activity granting Exotic Class items), and it’s confirmed that each will have three Acts, a new one debuting every six weeks.

Players can expect new weapons, armor, Artifact Mods, challenges, stories and quests. There will also be a new Exotic mission and weapon to complete. The two other Episodes, Revenant and Heresy, are also coming this year, so stay tuned for further details.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC.
