Xur has returned to Bungie’s Destiny, bringing his usual range of Exotic gear. No weapons this time, unfortunately. You can find him in the Tower hangar just to the right of the entrance where he will remain till February 14th, 2 AM PST.
This week, Xur is carrying the Peregrine Greaves (Titan boots), Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter helm) and Obsidian Mind (Warlock helm), each available for 13 Strange Coins each. In place of an Exotic weapon, there is an Exotic glove engram for 19 Strange Coins and Legacy engrams for helms are also available for 29 Strange Coins. Be careful about the Legacy engrams because they only give Year One content that you don’t currently own at Year One Light levels.
Other items being sold by Xur include Glass Needles for reforging Exotic gear, heavy ammo synths and Three of Coins which increases the chance of an Ultra dropping an Exotic engram. And if you haven’t heard already, Destiny 2 is officially a thing and a new expansion is out later this year.
