Following its reveal stream for the next class coming to Diablo 4 with Vessel of Hatred, the Spiritborn, Blizzard Entertainment has a new overview trailer. Narrative designer Eleni Rivera-Colon outlines the creation of the Spirit Guardians, their ties to Sanctuary and what they’re capable of in battle. Check it out below.
There are four Spirit Guardians that the Spiritborn can call upon in battle. Rezoka, the Hunter, is a jaguar who unleashes fire attacks when pouncing on enemies. Kwatli, the Seeker, is an eagle that allows for teleportation and lightning attacks.
Wumba, the Guardian, is a gorilla dishing out physical slams but who also symbolizes protection (which could mean some damage reduction). Finally, there’s Balazan, the Devourer, a centipede that unleashes decay upon enemies.
Rivera-Colon also confirmed that alongside exploring Nahantu’s jungles, players will venture into the Spirit Realm, where the Spirit Guardians reside.
