Diablo 4’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, is only a few days away, launching on October 7th, 4 PM PDT. However, everyone will receive Update 2.0 for free. Blizzard Entertainment hosted a pre-launch stream and provided a new video on all the changes inbound. Check it out below.

All level 51 and above characters will auto-adjust to level 50 – the new max level is 60, meaning additional Skill Points. Best of all, you can now allocate points to Ultimates to strengthen them. End-game changes include Glyph leveling heading to The Pit and Masterworking materials shifting to Nightmare Dungeons.

Completing higher tiers of The Pit is necessary to unlock the new Torment difficulty levels. As for Glyph leveling, it now functions more like Diablo 3. Completing runs of The Pit grants three attempts to increase a Glyph’s level (capping out at 100). You can upgrade Rare Glyphs to Legendaries at Level 45, increasing their radius by one and adding an affix.

Each class also gets a new Paragon Board with a new Legendary Node while the overall number is reduced, which means less linking. Paragon Levels have also increased to 300, but you can define your build around 200.

Head here for more details on Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred. It will be available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. Check out its recent live-action trailer here.
