The open beta for Nexon’s DNF Duel is currently live on PS4 and PS5 until tomorrow, offering a better look at the mechanics that can be expected. However, it seems we won’t have to wait long for the full release. A new trailer has dropped, confirming the fighting game’s launch in Summer 2022.

The trailer showcases all of the characters unveiled thus far, from the Dragon Knight and Striker to the Inquisitor and Hitman. It also showcases the Ghostblade, a Slayer variant that fights with a katana and a warrior ghost. Along with executing quick dashes to slice foes up, he can also teleport to the Ghost quickly and have it attack separately.

Whether this is the complete roster or not remains to be seen, especially given the sheer number of classes in Dungeon Fighter Online. DNF Duel will be coming to PS4, PS5 and PC with other platforms yet to be announced. Like Guilty Gear Strive, it’s confirmed to have rollback netcode for multiplayer. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
