Much like other Arc System Works-developed titles, Nexon’s DNF Duel has a story. A new trailer for the upcoming fighter showcases some of the events that take place. There’s Berserker being hunted by a group of soldiers led by Cyrus (with Vanguard helping out); the Fighter wandering through the woods at the same time; and the Dragon Knight being injured while dealing with some distortions.

If you know nothing about the world of Dungeon Fighter Online, then there’s a handy Glossary in-game. As the trailer showcases, it provides information on various regions, names, organizations and miscellaneous terms. You can also unlock various illustrations, listen to different tracks and character voices, and rewatch movie scenes in the Gallery.

DNF Duel is out on June 28th for PC, PS4 and PS5. Though 12 characters have been confirmed thus far, we could see more as evidenced by the tease of the Female Mechanic. Rollback netcode will also be available for online multiplayer. In the meantime, check out how character skills in-game compare to their Dungeon Fighter Online versions.
