Doom “classics” collection out now on PSN

Aw hell yes!

Bethesda has announced via its official blog that the entire DOOM classics collection is now available for all to download on the PS3 via the PlayStation Network.

The classics collection includes Doom, Doom II and Final Doom, including extra episodes “Thy Flesh Consumed” for Doom 1 and “No Rest for the Living” and “The Master Levels” for Doom II.

The entire collection costs $14.99/£11.99/€14.99.

Bethesda recently released Doom 3: BFG Edition as well. In our review, we gave it a solid 8/10, saying that it’s a “solid collection of all things Doom”, calling it out only for having “no major graphic update”.

BFG Edition included remastered versions of Doom 3 and the Resurrection of Evil add-on pack, including extra hours of gameplay. With so much Doom in recent days, it’s not hard to believe that a Doom 4 might be on the cards.

Will you guys be buying the Doom Classics collection? It certainly looks like bang worth the buck (shut up, pervs).
