DOOM Eternal’s standalone expansion, The Ancient Gods, wrapped up its story with its second instalment, which launched for PC and consoles earlier this year. Like the base game itself and the first part of the DLC though, the second part was confirmed to be arriving later for the Nintendo Switch. Now we know when that’ll be happening.
DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods – Part 2 is launching for the Switch next week, on August 26, it was recently confirmed at QuakeCon. Collectively, the base game and both expansions will require 26 GB of free storage space on your Switch (so keep your SD card ready and waiting). There’s no word yet on whether The Ancient Gods will receive a physical launch as well.
QuakeCon’s been packed with updates and announcements so far, with Bethesda having provided new details on Deathloop, and announced a Quake remaster with new content as well as yet another re-release of Skyrim.
