DOOM Eternal is out in just a little over a month, and given how excellent it looks (and how much id Software have been hyping it up), there’s no shortage of excitement surrounding its looming launch. With its release approaching, new details on the game have now emerged, with its Microsoft Store page having been updated to mention the game’s file size.

Apparently, the game will require 39.03 GB on the Xbox One. Interestingly enough, it seems the multiplayer component – called Battle Mode – will be a separate download. The install size mentioned on its separate page is 38.74 GB. We’re looking at a pretty sizeable size in total for the whole game, then. In comparison, DOOM (2016)’s current Xbox One install size is 61.21 GB.

DOOM Eternal is due out for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on March 20, and will release on the Switch some time later. Its campaign is supposedly over 22 hours long, while id Software have also talked about how much depth Battle Mode offers.

It’s bee confirmed that the game will have no microtransactions. You can check out the first 10 minutes of its campaign through here.
