The International, Dota 2’s global tournament, will begin today. The opening ceremony is at 10 AM PDT/6 PM BST and the matches will commence afterwards. The prize pool for the competition is insane this time around – $20 million in total are on the line.
The competition this year – which includes teams like OG and Fnatic – will compete in matches till August 13th. There will be streams in numerous languages as well so that you can watch in your native tongue. If that weren’t enough, the action will also be available in VR. Dedicated players can also watch the tournament through Dota 2 itself. You know, if you feel the need to play a few matches in between.
