BioWare has released new gameplay footage showcasing high-level combat from Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The Warrior class is featured as players venture to fight some Darkspawn with Davrin and Lucanis. Before that, players must set their Skills, Runes, and gear. Check it out below.

Players can equip up to three Runes at a time, activating additional benefits during combat, like adding Fire damage to weapons while increasing the element’s damage. You can also equip Uniques like Andraste’s Will, adding three additional stacks to Burning while causing all applied Afflictions to deal Burning damage.

It synergizes well with the Warrior’s various Fire Skills like a Perfect Parry granting Fire damage to weapons and increasing their duration by 50 percent. Each class has three Specializations with unique Ultimates. The Champion is best suited for fighting Darkspawn, especially since players can activate Warden’s Fire to rain down Fire damage on them. Of course, you can also adjust your companions’ builds and gear as well.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches on October 31st for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Check out the recently revealed PC features here.
