Following a leak through a TV ad earlier today, BioWare’s Dragon Age: The Veilguard is officially confirmed to launch on October 31st for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Pre-orders are currently available. Check out the latest trailer below.

After Rook and company interrupted Solas’s ritual in the initial gameplay reveal, the blighted Elven gods return and are far from pleased. It’s up to the crew to seek allies and fight back, traversing different environments and dealing with all kinds of fantastical sights. Dragons, griffins – even a giant reanimated skeleton mysteriously appears after the Fae is mentioned.

BioWare has tons more coming up for fans, including high-level combat gameplay and a PC spotlight next week. The week after is focused on Rook’s companions, but there will also be a Q&A with the development team on Discord.

You can also look forward to new details from IGN first throughout next month, starting September 3rd. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
