BioWare has announced that it will reveal the release date for Dragon Age: The Veilguard on August 15th at 9 AM PST with a new trailer. Interestingly, the description reveals more details on the story and how the interruption of Solas’s ritual has resulted in “corrupt Elven gods” set on ruining the world.
Of course, there’s more to come, with the developer confirming in a recent tweet that it would showcase high-level Warrior combat during the week of August 19th. It will also provide a spotlight for the PC version, perhaps to outline its dedicated features.
The week of August 26th is Companions Week, while August 30th features a Developer Q&A on Discord. From September 3rd onwards, IGN First will begin its month-long coverage, which likely means even more gameplay. There’s also the tease of “much more” to come in September and beyond.
Based on this schedule, it’s likely that Dragon Age: The Veilguard could launch in October for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC (as claimed in recent rumors). We won’t have to wait long to find out, so stay tuned for further updates.
The release date for #DragonAge: The Veilguard will be revealed TOMORROW!
We’re excited to share this moment with our fans with a release date trailer, and in the coming weeks we’ll also have high-level warrior combat gameplay, Companions Week, and more. 💜
