Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ has set a new record for digital sales and total units shipped worldwide. According to Bandai Namco and Arc System Works, the fighting game has passed five million units in terms of shipments and digital downloads. It was last reported to have sold four million units as of March 2019.

In celebration of this milestone, three special lobby characters and five million Zeni will be given to all players for free. You’ll get “Android 21 Special 01,” “Goku (SSGSS) Special 01” and “Vegita (SSGSS) Special 01” for use as avatars. To claim these free items, you’ll need to login between 12 PM JST on May 21st to May 28th, 11:59 PM JST.

Support for Dragon Ball FighterZ doesn’t show any signs of letting up. Ultra Instinct Goku will be added on May 22nd as a DLC character with even more to come as part of FighterZ Pass 3. Stay tuned for more details on their identities in the coming months. In the meantime, you can check out our review for the launch version of the game here.
