Square Enix’s Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age released last year in the West to strong critical acclaim. While it seemed like the next game would be a ways off, Square Enix seems to have some Dragon Quest-related announcement coming up. This will be in the Weekly Shonen Jump on June 10th.

If that date sounds familiar, it’s because Square Enix has an E3 broadcast planned for the same day. Whether this is the next game in the mainline series, or a spin-off like Dragon Quest Builders, remains to be seen. Either way, it should be an interesting day for fans.

Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age is out now for PS4 and PC in the West. It will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch as Dragon Quest 11 S. Along with a 2D mode, it will also have new story content (which may not necessarily be available on other platforms).
