Dragon Quest Builders 2

We’ve already learnt quite a few details about Dragon Quest Builders 2and we’ve also seen some screenshots and artwork of the game. Now, Square Enix has updated the game’s official website with some new information and trailers which showcase the bonus content that can be gained by importing save data from the first game in the series.

If you have earned the ‘Escape Artist’ trophy with the PlayStation versions of the game, then you’ll be able to change your protagonist’s appearance to that of the protagonist of the first game. For the Switch version, you need to have erected the ‘Banner of Hope’ in ‘Chapter 1: Cantlin’. The second bonus is a recipe to build the Dragonlord’s throne which will alter your appearance to that of the Dragonlord while you sit on the throne.

To get this bonus with the PlayStation versions, you need to have earned the ‘Torchbearer of Tantegel’ trophy. For the Switch version, you need the save data after ‘Final Chapter: Tantegel’ has been completed. You can check out the trailers below. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is currently in development for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
