Capcom has released a new update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 and finally addresses one of the action RPG’s main performance issues. Players reported frame rate drops in towns and other areas at launch with numerous NPCs. The patch improves on this, though adjusting one’s settings lower can lead to better results. There will be further frame rate improvements in future updates.
Interestingly, that’s only a footnote in the patch, which includes several quality-of-life features to the storage. Players can now sell items and equip armor from the storage menu while the cap on items of the same type that can be stored is raised from 99 to 999.
It’s also easier to find ox carts in the field, and items like the Venator’s Leggings, Ring of Predominance and Comforting Neck Wrap are now obtainable. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S players also have the option to change graphics settings to High/Low and enable 120 Hz output. Check out the full update notes below for other improvements.
