New PixelJunk title Dreams of Another has gotten a new trailer, this time around featuring game director Baiyon. The trailer, which you can check out below, revolves around the developers of the game went about creating the various sounds and music for the upcoming game.
Along with this, we also get to look at some new gameplay and story elements of Dreams of Another. The title, featuring unique visuals and gameplay, revolves around the player creating a brand new world by shooting it with their gun. Weapons available to the player can range from assault rifles to full-fledged RPGs.
“Rather than destroying objects by shooting—as in traditional shooting games—here, your shots materialize and create the world,” explained Baiyon back when the game was first unveiled. “This unconventional mechanic offers a gameplay experience that challenges the norms of the genre and invites players into a whole new dimension.”
Throughout their time with Dreams of Another, players will get to explore strange worlds and meet different people, all the while also experiencing their own stories. The title is slated for release on October 10, and will be coming to PC and PS5. The PS5 version of the game will also be compatible with the PlayStation VR2.
