Developer Techland has revealed the first bits of details about the second Chapter coming to Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The new Chapter, titled A Huntress and a Hag, will star a new Chapter Agent—Shen Xiu. The studio has gone into details about what it means by Chapters in a new video. Check it out.

In the video, game designer Karol Langrier and senior brand manager Anna Kublica go into detail about the studio’s philosophy offering long-term support to its games, citing the 7 years of support and content the original Dying Light got. A Huntress and A Hag is set to be the first major post-release content update to Dying Light 2 Stay Human, and the studio hopes for it to be the first of many to come. The studio states that it hopes to support the game for at least five years after release.

The new chapter will be released in the coming weeks alongside Dying Light 2 Stay Human‘s patch 1.5. Techland is stating that Chapters are a big part of post-launch content support for Dying Light 2 Stay Human.

While the studio hasn’t revealed too many details about A Huntress and a Hag, it has given us a description for the new Chapter Agent Shen Xiu, aka The Huntress. Xiu is set to be a proficient tracker and archery expert, and will have a new slate of missions for players.

Recent rumours indicate that Dying Light 2 Stay Human‘s first major DLC is going to be story-driven, and Gladiator-themed. An Opera house is also rumoured to be a key new location for the DLC.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. For more details, check out our review.
