The wait for Dying Light 2 Stay Human to receive its first major content update is going to stretch on a little longer, but developer Techland has been keeping up a healthy cadence of updates for the open world action RPG nonetheless. Currently, for instance, the game has welcomed back a fan-favourite mode.

Techland recently announced that Hyper Mode, which was first introduced for a short period earlier in the year, is back in Dying Light 2 Stay Human until August 1. For those unaware, Hyper Mode is all about giving exaggerated ragdoll physics to the zombies so they’ll be tossed right into the air the moment you hit them with weapons, parkour skills, explosives, or what have you.

“n this mode, you will have the chance to catapult your enemies into thin air,” Techland writes. “With strength like that, the infected become nothing more than ragdolls for your untamed entertainment and power.”

Meanwhile, Dying Light 2 Stay Human will also be receiving its first major expansion sometime in September. A recent leak spilled the beans on the expansion’s setting and gameplay details- read more on that through here.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
