Dying Light 2

Fresh off of releasing New Game Plus for Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Techland has some new limited-time Booster Events in store. Double XP is currently live until May 3rd and as the name indicates, you earn double the Combat and Parkour XP. From May 5th to 9th, Trove of Crystals will be available and provide better Crystal Cores in Dark Hollows.

From May 12th to 16th, Blue Moon is in effect, providing enhanced chemical resistance and immunity to night infection. Finally, from May 19th to 23rd, Hyper Mode will arrive and allow for catapulting enemies into the air on impact. Whether you’re hitting them with weapons, drop-kicks or grapples, enemies take flight in hilarious ways.

According to the roadmap shared in January, another Set of Challenges are slated to go live in May so there’s even more to look forward to. The first story expansion is currently set to release in June. Not much has been revealed but lead game designer Tymon Smektala confirmed that it would run “sideways” to the base game’s story. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
