With Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human on track to release next month, the developer is pulling out all the stops to hype it up. Fresh off of gameplay footage that compares the previous and current gen console versions, it also confirmed over three million wishlists on Steam in a new tweet.

While wishlisting on Steam doesn’t necessarily translate into sales at launch (or anytime soon), it does help a title to gain more exposure. As such, Dying Light 2 Stay Human is currently in Steam’s Top Sellers list, even ranking higher than FromSoftware’s Elden Ring. Time will tell just how successful it is at launch but there are definitely a number of people looking forward to it.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human releases on February 4th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch (via the cloud). Much like its predecessor, it will have extensive post-launch support with Techland promising updates for at least five years. Stay tuned for more details on the title in the coming days.
