Dying Light The Beast_01

For a franchise that was somewhat on the back foot after the second game, Techland’s Dying Light: The Beast feels like a shot in the arm for its survival horror/parkour formula. Critics have offered extensive praise, leading to a new accolades trailer highlighting some choice quotes. Check it out below.

Sales figures have yet to be announced, though Techland confirmed over one million pre-orders before launch and reports indicate over 1.5 million sold. While its concurrent player count on Steam thus far is less than half of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, it still managed a respectable peak of 121,222. Users have also been quite positive – out of the current 25,082 reviews, 89 percent gave it the thumbs-up, resulting in a “Very Positive” rating.

Dying Light: The Beast is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. You can read our review, where we gave it a nine out of ten, for more details. It’s also coming to Xbox One and PS4 this year, but a release window has yet to be determined.
