Dying Light The Beast

The field of potential announcements and reveals at the Summer Game Fest showcase on June 6th is slowly whittling down, with Techland confirming the presence of Dying Light: The Beast. Alongside showcasing new gameplay, the survival horror title will also receive a release date.

Rather than continuing the story of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, The Beast is a standalone expansion featuring the return of Kyle Crane, the first game’s protagonist. Presumed dead, Crane actually suffered from 13 years of experiments and has since escaped into Castor Woods. The former tourist destination is now teeming with the undead, so you’ll need to think fast and parkour to survive.

Crane can now harness the zombie DNA within him to unleash new abilities, but he still needs to beware at night when the most volatile infected come out to play. Dying Light: The Beast is coming to Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC this Summer, with four-player co-op included. Stay tuned for more details on its release date this week.
