EA Access

Electronic Arts has announced that EA Access will be free for all Xbox Live Gold subscribers from June 12th to June 22nd.

Though an official announcement is still pending, users reported receiving an email from the publisher informing them of the free period. The email itself reads, “Want to share EA Access with a friend who couldn’t make it to EA Play? All Xbox Live Gold members can check it out for FREE from June 12-22, 2016. All they have to do is download the EA Access app on Xbox One to get started.”

Interestingly, the free period will begin on the same day that EA is hosting its Play event at E3 2016, so it’s possible that some major announcement regarding EA Access could be made. Or it could just be a free gift for those in attendance and all Xbox Live Gold members are included by proxy. Either way, it’s an interesting deal and we’ll see where it could lead.
