It’s been well over a month since EA first confirmed that they’d be coming back with another EA Play Live event on July 22 with new updates and announcements. Now, as we approach that day, with less than a month left, they have provided additional details on when exactly on that day the event will begin.
Over on Twitter, they’ve confirmed that EA Play Live’s pre-show will kick off at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET on July 22, and will be “followed by the main show.” There are still details that haven’t been revealed, such as how long the pre-show will be, or what we can expect from it, but at least we have more details now. Meanwhile, in a follow-up tweet, EA confirmed that this year’s show will be hosted by wrestler Xavier Woods (aka Austin Creed).
Recent reports have suggested that EA is going to announce the revival of an established IP at the event- and apparently, it’s going to be Dead Space. Meanwhile, EA has also confirmed that it’ll be detailing the mysterious new Battlefield 2042 mode being developed by DICE LA at EA Play Live.
We are also excited to announce @AustinCreedWins our favorite former tag team champion will be hosting this year!
