There are long shots - and then there are dreams that come true.

Two Linkedin profiles make mention of an “unannounced project” at Eidos Montreal, whose most current effort is the multiplayer component of the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot.

UI/Gameplay Developer Alexandre Richer‘s profile talked about “taking part in the development of the user interface for a currently unannounced project, using Scaleform technology” (which he’s been on from August 2011 till January 2013).

Senior UI Artist Louis Auger simply states that he’s working on an “unannounced really cool project”.

Given that the only known project currently happening at Eidos Montreal is Thief 4, is it too much of a stress to think that we’ll finally be seeing the game in all its glory in the coming months? After all, after Tomb Raider, Eidos Interactive doesn’t have much on its plate.

One can hope, of course, though the real question remains as to whether the newest generation of gamers can be drawn in by the newest iteration of the stealth action title.
