It may not feel like it’s been quite so long, but FromSoftware’s seminal open world action RPG Elden Ring is soon going to be a year old, and though there’s been no shortage of critical and commercial success for the game, the celebration is set to continue.

Taking to Twitter, publisher Bandai Namco recently announced via its Nordics page that it will be hosting an event in Stockholm, Sweden to celebrate Elden Ring’s one year anniversary. Set for February 25, the event will also be livestreamed on Twitch, while Bandai Namco says more details on it will be shared in the coming days.

As always, it might be smart to keep your expectations low regarding what could be announced at the event, though fans are, of course, hoping to see DLC get revealed for the game. Leaks have suggested that FromSoftware has an Elden Ring expansion in the works, which is something that the game’s own files have suggested as well, while the studio has also previously indicated that it’s not quite done with the game just yet.

Elden Ring is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
