Lionhead Studios was the development team that brought Fable to the world, and until the cancellation of Fable Legends and the closure of Lionhead itself, it was the developer that oversaw the franchise. Thankfully for the series and its fans, Forza Horizon developer Playground Games is going to bring it back with the upcoming reboot– and it’s going to do with the help of some devs who have had experience with the franchise.

One of those is Amie Loake, who recently took to Twitter to confirm that she’s joined Playground Games as a senior producer on Fable. Loake was part of the Lionhead Studios team for nearly three years, from 2013 to 2016 and worked as a software test engineer on Fable Anniversary and in a production role on the aforementioned Fable Legends. Most recently, she finished an over five year-long stint at Sumo Digital.

Fable is in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC. A release date for the game remains unannounced, but rumours have indicated that it could launch in 2023.
