Bethesda has already patched The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition to support the PS4 Pro, allowing for native 4K output but what happened to the patch for Fallout 4?
As it turns out, support will be coming in the next title update for the post-apocalyptic FPS/RPG. This is according to the developer on Twitter though it didn’t mention a release date for the patch. It should be noted that Fallout 4 won’t be rendered at native 4K on PS4 Pro.
The most recent update for Fallout 4, due out this week, actually adds support for mods on PlayStation 4 at long last. Despite restrictions – like mods only being allowed to take up 1 GB in file size and using in-game assets – Bethesda is working with Sony to ensure more functionality in the coming days.
