If you haven’t heard, Ubisoft is doing pretty well for itself. The publisher’s recent financial report indicated strong sales for The Division 2, along with three unannounced titles coming out before March 2020. However, it’s Far Cry 5 which has been the greatest success for the company thus far.

According to Ubisoft, the open world first person shooter is the “best units selling Ubisoft game on current gen.” It’s probably not too surprising – Far Cry 5 sold five million copies in its first week, was one of the best sellers on Steam for 2018, and held strongly in UK sales charts for a number of months. You can check out GamingBolt’s review of the title here.

A standalone sequel for the game released earlier this year with Far Cry New Dawn. Though the critical and commercial reception wasn’t as strong, it still debuted at the top of the 10 best-selling games in the UK, beating out titles like Metro Exodus and Red Dead Redemption 2. Check out our review for Far Cry New Dawn and judge for yourself if it’s worth the trouble.
