Future episodes for Final Fantasy 15, save for Episode Arydn, have been canned, but there’s still new content to enjoy. For instance, a new collaboration quest with Final Fantasy 14 is now available as a free update to all players. Check out the release trailer below.
Titled “Adventurer From Another World”, the quest sees Noctis and friends meeting with Y’jhimei, a Miqo’te who’s mysteriously transported to their world. Together, the party must travel to Perptouss Keep to battle the fearsome Garuda. Expect a few other quest steps along the way, as well as assistance from Y’jhimei’s healing.
Successfully completing the quest will net players some special Final Fantasy 14-themed outfits, including a Miqo’te-esque costume for Noctis. As for Episode Ardyn, expect it to launch in March 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Taking place from the perspective of the game’s antagonist, it will detail Ardyn’s journey of vengeance against the Regis family.
