Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth - Folios

With the introduction of Folios in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, you’ll want more SP than ever to unlock them all. However, SP is a precious resource and earning it can take a regular amount of time as you play the game. Here’s how to speed up the process.

How to Quickly Earn Skill Points

Leveling Up

The first method is to level up characters since each level grants five SP. It’s not much, especially if you’re fighting regular enemies. Speed the process up by taking on Combat Assignments – more challenging enemies that give more XP. They’re also a way to earn Gil, provided your party is strong enough (head here for more details). Odd Jobs and the Combat Simulator are also good sources of XP.

Manuscripts

By comparison, Manuscripts provide 10 SP at one go, and each character has two Volumes. At least one Volume is earned by spending Moogle Medals at the Moogle Emporium – you can earn the Medals by playing the Moogle Mischief mini-game. They’re also obtained by breaking open Shinra boxes and chests.

Completing specific side quests also awards Manuscripts. For example, Flowers on the Hill grants Telluric Scriptures Vol. 1 for Aerith. Keep an eye out in each region for these side quests and complete them ASAP. They also provide rewards like Materia, equipment and EXP for the party and player. They also contribute to raising Bond levels.
