Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches in less than a month, and as its release draws closer, the fanbase’s hunger for more details on the game continues to grow more ravenous. A couple of days from now, we’ll be getting plenty of those with a dedicated State of Play presentation on February 6, and it seems information has also emerged on when the game’s reviews will go live.
In a recent tweet, journalist Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming claimed that critics are playing Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth right now, and that reviews for the action RPG will go live on February 22, a full week ahead of the game’s release at the end of the month. Typically, a gap as long as that between a game’s release and its review embargo lifting tends to suggest that the publisher is confident it will receive high scores, potentially boosting pre-launch sales.
Meanwhile, recent leaks have also claimed that a demo of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is going to be announced at the aforementioned upcoming State of Play, so fans may soon have a chance to get a taste of the game’s offerings as well.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launches on February 29 for PS5.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Review Embargo is February 22 at 9AM ET.
