Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original PlayStation One release, Final Fantasy 8 Remastered promises refreshed visuals. Other than that, the same story and characters carry over into the current generation. You’ll still embark on an epic journey with Squall, Rinoa, and many others into a perilous world full of intrigue and danger.
If this is your first time playing the classic RPG, it should keep you busy until Final Fantasy 7 Remake releases next year. Unlike Final Fantasy 8 Remastered, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is re-imagined from the ground up for current gen consoles with real-time and tactical combat. We also received our very first look at fan favourite Tifa’s design. The remake arrives on March 3rd, 2020 for PS4.
