Action RPG Forspoken has received several new details today, from an update to the PS5 demo and gameplay of the opening to the PC features and requirements (better get to making space). If that weren’t enough, several TV commercials have been released, showcasing everything from the Tantas to combat and even what appears to be the theme song. Check them out below.
Developed by Luminous Productions (of Final Fantasy 15 fame), Forspoken sees Frey Holland suddenly transported from New York City to the fantasy world of Athia. This isn’t your average isekai adventure, with Athia beset by the Break and the creatures corrupted by it. If that weren’t enough, the once-benevolent Tantas have turned evil.
Frey doesn’t have much when arriving Athia, relying on a few spells and the sentient bracelet Cuff. Nevertheless, she’ll learn over 100 spells, explore the world with magical parkour, and eventually take the fight to the Tantas.
