Square Enix’s Forspoken is out on January 24th for PS5 and PC, and reviews are close behind. Review aggregation site OpenCritic has confirmed that the review embargo for the upcoming action RPG lifts on January 23rd, 6 AM PST. That’s when we’ll know what critics have to say.

Developed by Luminous Productions, Forspoken is the story of Frey, who’s transported from New York to Athia and discovers magical powers. Check out the opening gameplay here, as Frey battles corrupted creatures and a dragon.

A demo is currently available, which received an update yesterday for button mapping, text sizes, and fixing various technical issues.
