Forspoken

Though it’s been delayed from May to October, the hype hasn’t dulled for Luminous Productions’ Forspoken. Game Informer has confirmed the action RPG to be its newest cover story this month so expect new gameplay and details. A brief new trailer has also been released which showcases the massive environments and some new magic spells. Check it out below.

Along with a brief shot of Frey swinging on a post, there’s also a few new foes that we haven’t seen before. If that weren’t enough, one spell seems to be akin to the Dragoon’s Jump from Final Fantasy and looks suitably explosive. The publication said it watched about 30 minutes of hands-off footage which showcased a new region Avoalet.

It also gained some insight into the side activities that Frey can pursue in Athia so there’s plenty to look forward to. Stay tuned for more details in the coming days. Forspoken is slated to release on October 11th for PS4 and PS5.
