Destroyed by the infamous meteor, the location could be set for a comeback.

Fortnite Season 9

The Fortnite World Cup finals took place this weekend and there was something for the non-esports minded fans to see. It was a teaser for Season 10, which arrives on August 1st, and showcased Dusty Depot. Remember Dusty Depot? It was annihilated by that one meteor several seasons ago and served as the first major change to Fortnite Battle Royale’s map.

Check out the teaser image below courtesy of the official Fortnite Twitter. So what does this mean, especially in a game where the last event saw a giant dog mecha battle an enormous kaiju and doing the Floss? Could there be a new “classic” section of the map that sees previously removed locations returning?

If not, we’re calling some time traveling shenanigans. Then again, predicting Fortnite’s next big shtick is near-impossible these days. At the very least you can expect some additional changes to the map and a new Battle Pass in Season 10. That means more skins, wraps and other cosmetics to unlock. Stay tuned for more teases over the next few days.
