Epic Game’s Fortnite, which recently saw a reboot to become Fortnite: Chapter 2, will see the return of Fortnitemares today. Though the developer indicated that the Halloween event would be live at 6 AM PT, we’re still waiting for patch notes. So for now we’re stuck wondering: How will Halloween be this year?

Halloween-themed skins are a given. The real question is whether the Cube Monsters from last year will make a return (especially given how mixed the reaction was to their inclusion). The huge Purple Cube is gone now so it seems unlikely but you never know.

Perhaps the map will be changing in some way? Whatever the case may be, stay tuned for more updates. In the meantime, you can check out some of the new cosmetics including the Zombified emote, the Fearsome Freaks set, the Widow’s Web weapon wrap, Back-o-lantern Backbling and Raptor’s new spooky style. All of these will be available when Fortnitemares goes live today.
