Fortnite - Fortnitemares

BlizzCon 2018 is happening this weekend but no one told Epic Games. After dealing with a giant purple cube for many months, Fortnite: Battle Royale players may see what’s coming next on November 4th. The developer announced that Fortnitemares will be coming to an end on that day. However, players should try getting into a match around 1 PM ET to “witness the one-time event”.

This seems to indicate something similar to the rocket launch which caused cracks to open in the sky, except Epic is actually providing a time to look forward to. Though we often ask how Fortnite could possibly top its previous wacky event, the development team has been doing a pretty good job rising to the challenge. So we’ll see what November 4th holds.

For now, Fortnitemares is currently live and challenges can be completed to earn items like the Dark Engine Glider. The limited-time mode offered a unique spin on PvP and PvE as players hunted Cube Monsters with unique weapons while fighting other players. Will there more Save the World crossovers or something else? Stay tuned in the meantime to find out.
