A large gallery of leaked images for Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 4 was recently posted to Reddit, and while the sheer number of assets is already surprising, something else caught the eye of fans. An image showcasing Halo’s Master Chief in a Warthog was revealed. It’s not the biggest surprise, especially since it was available in the previous game as well.

It’s the background that has players interested. The familiar ring-shaped world of Halo and a Covenant battlecruiser can be seen in the background. Perhaps this is an event themed around the game? Some fans believe this to be a mission or event that pays homage to the “Silent Cartographer” mission from Halo: Combat Evolved. At this point, it’s hard to say, but given the range of images leaked, there’s a very good chance it’s legit.

As it is, Forza Horizon 4 has a lot going for it, with dynamic seasons, player houses, daily challenges, skill trees for different vehicles, and apparently over 450 cars to drive. It releases on October 2nd for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC.
