Playground Games delivered what was easily one of the best games of 2021 with Forza Horizon 5, and the open world racer has enjoyed critical and commercial success to reflect that. On top of enjoying the biggest ever launch for an Xbox Game Studios-published title upon its release, within a little over a week of its launch, the game had amassed over 10 million players, and it’s been bringing in more and more since then.

As spotted recently on Twitter by @MauroNL3, Forza Horizon 5 has now amassed over 15 million players in two months since its launch. That’s as per the Hall of Fame leaderboard in the game, which catalogues everyone who’s played the game and connected to its servers at least once.

The game certainly deserves all of its success. We awarded it our Game of the Year 2021 accolade, and gave it a score of 10/10 in our review, which you can read through here.

Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
