The traditional Forza Horizon campaign that everyone knows and loves is going through some big changes in Forza Horizon 5. In the latest episode of “Let’s ¡Go!”, Playground Games showcased the new Horizon Adventure and how it offers more freedom for fans to pursue the races they want. The main goal this time around is to get into the Hall of Fame by earning various Accolades.

The new Festival Map, presented with snazzy new art, now sees various activities divided into their own dedicated Festivals. Everyone starts out at the Horizon Festival Mexico! Main Stage but can choose Horizon Rush (for PR stunts), Horizon Baja (cross country racing) and Horizon Wilds (dirt racing) among others, and race in those instead. Each Festival has its own unique Chapters where you embark on new quests. To unlock Chapters, you’ll need to earn Accolades.

These are essentially mini-challenges that cater to different kinds of players across multiple categories like Stories, Expeditions, Discovery and Collections, Online, and more. You don’t need to get all of them, of course – it’s more of a way to provide unique checklists for those who favor certain types of racing. “Welcome to Mexico” is more of a starting set of Accolades, ranging from buying a car at the Autoshow to completing the Horizon Mexico Circuit. Selecting an Accolade will pin it to the map and then it’s off to the races.

There’s a lot more to run through so it’s worth checking out the entire stream below. Forza Horizon 5 releases on November 9th for Xbox Series X/S, PC and Xbox One.
