Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 5 is now available for pre-loading. The open world racing sim recently went gold and all game owners, along with Xbox Game Pass subscribers, can pre-load it on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. Of course, you’ll need the requisite storage space to install it.

On PC, 103 GB of free space is needed. Xbox One users will need 116 GB while Xbox Series X/S players only require 103 GB of space. The latter’s SSD drive has allowed for reducing the install footprint with assets optimized for “higher bandwidth streaming.” It may not seem like a huge difference compared to the size of Xbox One version but it’s not insignificant either

Forza Horizon 5 releases on November 9th for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. It’s set in Mexico and features 11 different biomes with their own respective weather conditions, over 400 cars (including the DeLorean from Back to the Future) and extensive multiplayer modes. Stay tuned for more details en route to release.
