Forza Horizon 5 players have already been treated to one excellent expansion so far thanks to last year’s Hot Wheels, and following on from its critical and commercial success, developer Playground Games is ready to talk about what comes next. The developer previously confirmed that new details on the seminal open world racer’s next expansion would be coming sometime in early 2023, and now we know exactly when that will happen.

Playground Games has announced that Forza Horizon 5’s second expansion will be unveiled on Thursday, February 23, as part of a livestream that will kick off at 9 AM PT. Whether the new chunk of content will take players to a new real-world location or be more themed like the Hot Wheels expansion was remains to be seen, but we’ll be finding out soon enough either way.

Fans of Microsoft’s racing series have other things to look forward to as well, with Forza Motorsport set to launch for Xbox Series X/S and PC sometime in 2023- though it may have been delayed to the second half of the year.

Forza Horizon 5 is available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
