The Horizon Festival is going to Japan this May in Forza Horizon 6, and it’s looking better than ever before. Playground Games has confirmed six biomes for you to test your skills in, with four of them receiving new trailers. Each is sure to bring its own challenges with varying weather and conditions, making you pay attention to the road as you attempt to take the lead in a race.

That might be easier said than done, though, and that’s partly thanks to how gorgeous each one is. From Japan’s coasts to its mountains, plains, lowlands (previously revealed here), alpines, and snow-covered lands, there’s an astounding level of detail on offer, no matter which one you pick. The wind that brushes along the local flora, gently flowing rivers, and a generally tranquil air to Japan’s many landscapes are all perfectly great excuses to slow down and enjoy the view, even as your opponents blaze past you in their effort to get to the finish line.

But if these new additions to Forza Horizon 6 have taught us anything, it’s that taking the road not taken from time to time can leave you with the best memories. It’s out on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, with a PS5 release later this year.
