Forza Horizon 6

Following numerous leaks, Playground Games finally took the covers off Forza Horizon 6, revealing the very first gameplay of its next open-world racer. It’s launching on May 19th for Xbox Series X/S and PC, while the PS5 version goes live later this year. As the first entry to venture to Japan, players control a tourist who must complete the Qualifiers and join the Horizon Festival.

You’ll receive Wristbands which provide access to more events – including Showcases and new Horizon Rush events, which are like obstacle courses – until you get that coveted Gold Wristband to open up Legend Island with its own unique tracks, events, and more. Otherwise, the rest of Japan is available to explore at your leisure, and it’s truly epic – modern and traditional landscapes, various biomes, an emphasis on verticality, and more await.

Of course, Playground Games captured every little detail of the region, from the response of fallen cherry blossoms on speeding vehicles to the buildings and vegetation (not to mention extensive field recordings from all four seasons). There’s something to discover everywhere, and it’s tracked by the new Adventure Journal.

Forza Horizon 6 launches with more than 550 cars, headlined by the Toyota GR-GT. You’ll discover new body kits, Aero, and even the new top-end R class. Fancy something unique? Seek out aftermarket cars, available at a bargain but packing rare parts. Pre-orders go live today, so stay tuned for more details.
