Steam Deck

The Steam Deck has been out for nearly a month now, and as you’d expect from a well-built portable gaming PC, it’s been receiving plaudits from those who’ve got their hands on it so far. Now, Valve and Microsoft have come together to offer even more options on the device.

Catherine Gluckstein, who’s the head of product and strategy at Xbox Cloud Gaming, recently took to Twitter to confirm that Game Pass and Xbox Cloud Gaming are now both accessible on steam through the Microsoft Edge browser. According to Gluckstein, Microsoft and Valve have “closely” worked together on this.

Of course, many will be hoping for Game Pass to become natively available on the Steam Deck as well. Valve boss Gabe Newell recently said that the company is “more than happy” to help Microsoft integrate Game Pass with Steam, so hopefully that’s something we’ll see in the not-too-distant future.
